Dyan Jong is a Los Angeles based image maker questioning the boundaries between still, motion, and loop image – photo as a moment, video to tell a story, gif as infinity. Now also as an installation artist, taking light from image into experience. Forever fascinated by novelty and failure, and the interplay of art and tech, Dyan is investigating what light can express as both illuminated pixel and volumetric solid, and how decisions in the image making process resolve into how others perceive and participate.
